This subject describes the skills, knowledge and responsibilities required by nurses to administer and monitor medications and IV therapies for safe patient care. In addition students will evaluate effectiveness of the therapies in care environments and relate key health conditions across the lifespan that may require medication support. Taught in conjunction with other vocational competencies.
