In the capstone subject 'Bridging Research Gaps' current Hallmark students will explore various topics relating to Australia's future and society's engagement with pressing issues, for example climate change, gender equality and sustainable system management. The students will be involved with organising a range of master classes on a topic of their choice. 'Bridging Research Gaps' aims to prepare students for the transition from undergraduate study to academia and advance their understanding of the links between academia and broader societal and community discourses. Having just completed a two-week study tour overseas, the students further engage with the concept of global citizenship.
