Subject outline
In this subject students learn practical vocational skills in the areas of exhibitions, display, cataloguing, grant writing, digital photography and desktop publishing with the aim of preparing them for the workplace. They will undertake research and learn skills needed for the preservation or public display of objects in their context. Students will explore aspects of heritage management, the built environment and public history. The subject draws directly on the expertise of industry bodies, particularly regional organisations, and applies aspects of regional art and heritage policy to particular case studies
