Subject outline
In this subject students build on the foundation skills taught in Chinese 1 and further extend their communicative repertoire with the topics such as making appointments, studying Chinese, school life, shopping, and using transportation. Students learn to write a further 180 characters, bringing the total to 300, and learn to recognise up to 400 characters. This subject will also be offered as an intensive summer subject from week 5 to week 7 in 2015.
