Subject outline
In this subject, students will continue to treat clients, attending the University's on-site Podiatry clinic, under the supervision of qualified podiatrists and senior peer mentors (Instance 1). For instance 2, students will undertake clinical training with an external organisation (Bendigo Community Health Services). In addition, students will construct negative case impressions of the foot, modify plaster foot models and manufacture custom made rigid orthoses. All students will also undertake a 2-week external placement at the end of semester 2.

Prerequisites: Must have passed subject(POD4PPC)or equivalent. Must be enrolled in one of the following courses: HZHPOD, HZHPDB, HZHPDS, HZHPDM, HZHPDW - Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Podiatric Practice. Or admission in HMPOD, HMPODB - Master of Podiatric Practice.
