Subject outline

In this subject, the primary aim is to prepare students to conduct a research project in the field of rehabilitation. Working with a supervising academic member of staff, the student develops his or her research skills and knowledge to the point where they are able to formulate an appropriate research question, conduct a research literature review, critically evaluate alternative research designs, appy basic concepts of data description and data analysis, identify the practical constraints and requirements of the rehabilitation project they have designed, identify ethical issues and deal with ethics committee requirements.
