Subject outline

In this subject students will develop an understanding of the major intervention strategies used in community health promotion and have the experience of designing and implementing a small community health promotion project of their own. Students will establish teams to undertake the project under the supervision of staff. They will utilise the skills learned in PHE2HED. The experience of designing and implementing a small project using the frameworks and strategies of community level health promotion will enable students to undertake a small piece of work in an agency during the placement subject in third year.
