Subject outline

In this third clinical placement subject, you will have an opportunity to integrate theory into practice under supervision in a specialist area. You will undertake placements in community mental health and paramedic service settings. These specialised clinical experiences will enable you to develop as clinicians within the framework of the Paramedics Australasia Competency Standards for Paramedics. While on clinical placement, you will have the opportunity to practice and develop your clinical skills in the management of patients with mental health and acute health conditions in supervised clinical environments.
