In the context of the globalisation of markets and the growing economic interdependence between countries, it is crucial for future managers to develop skills that can help them motivate and lead employees to conduct effective cross-national and cultural interactions. Upon successful completion of this subject, students will have a comprehensive understanding of issues related to cross-cultural, HR and other operational facets of managing a multinational enterprise. Topics covered include understanding national cultural differences, dimensions of national and corporate cultural inter-cultural communication, motivation and cross-cultural leadership, and ethical, sustainable international operations management.
