In this subject students will be provided with a solid foundation for lawyers and business people doing business in China. Topics covered include representative offices, the approval process, choice of investment vehicle, foreign exchange, tax, dispute resolution, liquidation, land use rights, technology licensing, intellectual property protection, labour, wholly-foreign owned enterprises, holding companies, reorganizations and mergers & acquisitions, project finance and securities. To make the learning process more enjoyable and effective, students will negotiate their own joint venture
