In this subject, you will use the principles taught in Principles of Health Informatics A to explore technical requirements, skills and processes surrounding the implementation and management of electronic health records (EHRs). Using an enquiry based learning approach, you will develop an understanding of issues related to EHR, such as privacy, interoperability, terminologies, EHR structure, protocol based systems, and decision support systems. You will also learn basic SQL database skills in interrogating and reporting.
