Subject outline

In this subject you will get to know the economic way of thinking and decision making. You will discover many micro and macroeconomic principles and concepts, and find out how they can be put to practice in the real-world. This includes the main market forces of supply and demand, competitive and monopoly market structures, the use of game theory to make better economic decisions, measuring a nation#s income and the cost of living, the drivers of economic growth and the causes of unemployment. The global financial crisis and its lessons for households and policymakers will also be discussed.
