Subject outline
Through assigned projects, students will develop a wide range of skills in digital technologies : photoshop, illustrator, indesign/quark and develop expertise in the creative use of digital tools essential to the professional practice of communication through real-time digital presentation â ensuring a full-working knowledge of production techniques: photography for presentation, typographic application and creative conceptualization through the use of Acrobat, Powerpoint and/or Keynote. Scanning, re-screening, image manipulation, layers, clipping paths, file management and production for real-time presentation are essential skills to be mastered in this unit.
