Subject outline
The creation of integrated design solutions to both two dimensional and 3 dimensional applied projects is the focus of this unit. Creative design solutions are a major element in effective communication, and emphasis is placed on the creative interplay between words, text, images, ideas, and typography. Through applied projects such essential skills as construction techniques, layout visualisation and presentation, applied drawing, photo mechanical and reproductive techniques, photographic and typographic application are developed.
