Subject outline

In this subject students are provided with the opportunity of integrating knowledge, values and skills gained in previous years and applying these to social issues which are the concerns addressed in social work. Students are expected to be able to demonstrate their understanding of the purpose of social work through the application of the concepts, theories, values and skills presented in the course. They are also expected as part of this process to demonstrate their ability to critically reflect on their practice.

Prerequisites: Students enrolled in course HZSK, HZSKB, HZSKW, HZSKM (BHS&MSW), HZHSK, HZHSKB, HZHSKW, HZHSKM (BHS&MSW Hons) must have passed all subjects from (SWP4LHE, SWP5APC, SWP5RSB, SWP4FPA, SWP5PPA, SWP5RIA).
