Subject outline
In this subject final-year students, who have demonstrated academic excellence, will be provided with further opportunities for academically challenging work and a pathway to postgraduate research studies through formal recognition of excellent academic performance. Through preparing and presenting a rigorous research proposal with support of the Honours Seminar and a thesis supervisor, students are afforded the means to both demonstrate and hone skills in critical analysis, research, written and oral communication at a higher level than that usually expected of pass level graduates. The satisfactory completion of the proposal is a prerequisite to enrolment in SWP5HOB.
