Subject outline
This unit addresses a range of topics related to research methodology and statistical analysis that are extremely valuable in understanding or analysing clinical or applied research. It is designed to ensure that students are able to understand data presented in different clinical and applied research at a sophisticated level. Topics include: Study designs with an emphasis on RCT's and their evaluation; sample size, statistical power, effect size and clinical significance, mediation and moderation; prevalence, incidence, measures of association; systematic reviews and meta-analyses; single case designs, etc.
