Subject outline

In this subject, students will have developed an understanding of, and familiarity with, the evidence that underpins the prosthetic management of persons with transfemoral amputation. Particular emphases are placed on the clinical presentation of persons with transfemoral amputation, how to prescribe and design clinically realistic prostheses and how to adapt the treatment process accordingly.
