In this subject, students will be provided with the opportunity to apply their skills developed in earlier clinical placements to consolidate their knowledge of Prosthetics and Orthotics in a clinical setting. Upon successful completion of this subject, students must have demonstrated their ability to provide clinical and technical prosthetic and orthotic professional services under minimal guidance from a clinical supervisor. Emphasis is placed on providing students with an opportunity to further develop their assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning skills within their allocated facility as well as attending to a wide range of case management responsibilities.
