Subject outline

In this subject, students will be provided with the opportunity to apply their skills from earlier clinical placement to further apply and extend their knowledge of Prosthetics and Orthotics in a clinical setting. Upon successful completion of this subject, students must have demonstrated their ability to provide clinical and technical prosthetic and/or orthotic professional services under the guidance of a clinical supervisor. Emphasis is placed on providing students with an opportunity to further progress their assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning skills within their allocated clinical facility. Students will also be asked to demonstrate their ability to critically reflect upon their ability to meet their learning outcomes.
