Subject outline

In this subject students will be provided the opportunity to further develop the skills required for supporting families with young children in the community. A major focus of the unit will be competencies required for parenting safely and documenting parenting concerns. Issues explored will further develop assessment skills, particularly family assessment and the identifcation of risk to child safety and the relationship to current policy and practice.
