Subject outline
In this subject students will develop critical thinking skills in the performance of a comprehensive health assessment on patients from a diverse population that respects cultural diversity, spiritual expression and ethical values. The focus is on acquiring advanced levels of knowledge in lifespan anatomy and physiology. Students will develop skills in immediate and follow-up health assessment, initiation and interpretation of diagnostics and pharmacology on health assessment findings and be able to make clinical decisions that optimise outcomes for patients, be they in hospital or the community.
