Subject outline

In this subject students will apply a primary health care approach to nursing and explore the professional roles of community nurses in a variety of health care settings. Specific content will (i) address areas such as health promotion and education, community health needs analysis, culturally sensitive practice and intersectorial collaboration and (ii) will be analysed in the context of the promotion of health and well- being across a range of diverse population groups and settings.
