Credit points: 15
Subject outline
Organisational behaviour is the study of human behaviour in organisation settings, with the aim of improving organisational effectiveness. This subject emphasises a micro organisational behaviour perspective and examines how individual characteristics, interpersonal relationships, and group processes relate to individual behaviour and outcomes in organisations. The subject activities apply and critically evaluate organisational behaviour theory and concepts to help address current organisational problems related to such issues as motivation, decision making, teamwork, leadership, and diversity. Understanding key organisational behaviour principles can help you be a more effective employee, co-worker, team member, and manager.
