In this subject students will learn to read advanced linguistic literature critically and apply this knowledge to the design and implementation of linguistic research projects. To design and implement these projects, students will also receive training in linguistic research methodology, read and discuss various types of research projects and be assisted to analyse the results of their own studies.

Prerequisites: Must have passed 30 credit points of third-year Linguistics; or must have passed 30 credit points of third-year Languages. All other students require Program Coordinator's approval.
