Subject outline

In this unit students have the opportunity to examine various theoritcal frameworks related to heatlh promotion program planning and evaluation. Students devlop the necessary knowledge and skills to undertake the planning and evaluation process with a community they are familiar with, based on sound evidence. Content includes assessing community needs, reviewing relevant literature, designing public health programs using socio-enviornmental or community development approaches, implementating and evaluation options, and finance and budgeting.
