Subject outline

In this subject, students will further develop their health information practice knowledge and skills through engagment in supervised professional practice placements in healthcare and related agencies across the whole-of-health. The purpose of the subject is to enable students to apply theoretical knowledge to practice, and to consolidate learnings from previous professional practice placements. Students will undertake 45 days of placement and complete a range of academic assessments. Regular contact with University supervisors is maintained during placements via telephone, email and on-site visits.
