Subject outline
In this subject students will build on their foundation knowledge about evidence based practice, research design, statistics and searching for the best available research evidence and gain experience evaluating clinical practice guidelines. They will apply these skills and knowledge to actual speech pathology practice contexts. Students will research and critique the best available evidence presented in clinical practice guidelines and integrate their findings about the evidence with the clinical practice context, the clinician's level of expertise and client values and preferences.
