Subject outline

In this unt students will be taught theories of Systemic Family Therapy Training and Consultation including: (a) adult learning theories in teaching and learning i) strategies for teaching structural, strategic systemic, solution focussed, family of origin, narrative, and constructivist theories of systemic practice ii) feminist cultural and gender issues in training and consultation dynamics (b) comparative differences in supervision, training and consultaion etc. (c) teaching in groups, use of group process, developing experiential exercises to teach family therapy theories and practices (d) assessment and evaluation dynamics and techniques
