Subject outline
This subject is divided into six modules. Module 1 - Systemic Work with Individuals (5cp), Module 2 - Advanced Interventions (10cp), Module 3 - Behavioural Family Therapy (10cp), Module 4 - Including Children in Work on Adult Problems (5cp), Module 5 - Single Session Family Consultations (5cp), Module 6 - Acquired Brain Injury (5cp). Each is completed with an assignment designed to assist you in extending your knowledge and practice in family work. You can take any combination which makes up 15cp. It is important to note that Module 2 is a prerequisite for progression to graduate diploma or masters level, and also for module 4. Modules 1, 2 and 6 are in a flexible learning format. Modules 3 to 5 are available as face-to-face workshops, offered by The Bouverie Centre. If you have already done one or more of these workshops you can complete the relevant assessment within this study period.
