Subject outline

In this subject students consolidate and add to the skills gained in Year 12 French. We focus on further development of speaking, listening, reading and writing skils and continue to learn about French culture through the materials used for language acquisition. Students successfully completing the subject should be able to read French, write accurately and make sense of and participate in a variety of communicative situations presented in French, within the limits of the vocabulary and tenses introduced in the subject. The subject should also enable them to obtain a B1 level in the Common European Framework.
