Subject outline
Each student undertakes an engineering design project on a topic relevant to their chosen field of specialisation (biomedical, communication or electronic systems) after selecting a topic in consultation with supervisors. The project may be a design of a system, including design computations, drawings and specifications, or it may take the form of a report of an industrial or laboratory investigation or similar activity. The outcome of an investigation requires a project report of about 5000 words in length, excluding appendices, but supported by appropriate diagrams, charts, graphs and other illustrations.
