Subject outline
Each student undertakes an investigative project on a theme relevant to their degree. The topic is selected after consultation with the unit coordinator and available supervisors. The project will involve an investigation into a contemporary technology problem or question. Students will be required to meet weekly with their supervisor. The outcome of the investigation requires a project report of about 2,500 words in length, excluding appendices, but supported by appropriate diagrams, charts, graphs and other illustrations. At the conclusion of the project students give a short individual oral presentation of their work.
