Subject outline
In this subject students improve their knowledge of learning, including understanding of learning theories, and the relationship between learning theory and classroom practice. Through an enquiry based learning project, students investigate a teaching and learning issue, with reference to theoretical frameworks and data drawn from classroom experience. Students demonstrate their understanding of the intersection between theoretical models of teaching and learning and their classroom practice. Particular attention is paid to continued development of skills enabling students to integrate university- and school-based learning.
