You will develop skills to enable you to actively participate, as a health professional, within such organisations. Through understanding client/consumer needs and rights, you will be able to strategically plan to address food and nutrition issues, through policy and programs that incorporate a safe, adequate and nutritious food supply, nutrition education and advocacy. You will undertake a five-week placement practical, within a community and public health organisation, where you will complete a project related to the points above.
