Subject outline

In this subject students will have the opportunity to build on the clinical skills attained during the third year in all areas of clinical practice pertaining to adult and child patients. Students will further develop their treatment planning skills while on clinical placement, and will provide patients with general restorative care, periodontal therapy and maintenance, children's dentistry, removable prosthodontics (complete and partial dentures), fixed prosthodontics (indirect restorations) and adult exodontia. In addition, students will commence simple endodontic cases which will be further developed with more complex cases in the fifth year. Clinical experience will be obtained at public clinics in Bendigo, Mildura, Wodonga and Melton.
