MANAGING MULTIMEDIA IN BUSINESS AND EVENTS
BUS2MMB
2014
Credit points: 15
Subject outline
Multimedia is more than just technology instead it represents a very powerful way to educate, entertain and inform. It is now widely incorporated in a range of activities from staff training through to marketing. However, one of the greatest influences on the uptake of multimedia in business has been the internet and, as a result, an increasing number of businesses are becoming involved. This subject has two major aims. It introduces students to the underlying theories of multimedia, particularly in relation to design considerations as they relate to human-computer interaction. It looks at the management of multimedia within the business context, in particular, focusing on how implementation projects can be effectively controlled.
