In a world where organizations are confronted with a vast amount of information, there will be an ever-increasing demand for graduates who are able to demonstrate that they can make effective use of data. This subject will help students to become more competent users of information and to develop their understanding of decision making processes. The subject will assist students to attain an introductory level of statistical literacy by helping them to apply statistical concepts to critical business problems and major social issues.
