In this unit students will be introduced to the ever expanding field of bioinformatics. Students will learn how to locate, use and apply commonly available bioinformatic software programs to address biological problems. Students will also be introduced to molecular modeling software used to solve biological problems. This unit requires no prior experience in bioinformatics
