Subject outline

This extension of the first semester STC3AAP-A provides students with the opportunity to develop skills in strategic communications within an internal consultancy based at La Trobe University which will be established in 2014. Based on overseas models, the students will be given an introduction to real work pressures by undertaking projects for external clients. Students will be able to apply, in practical terms, the skills and understanding they have developed over the past two years. It will work in combination with the already very successful Professional Internahip Program allowing students to move into the workforce in a planned and considered manner. It will also engage the industry in a number of significant ways.
