AgriBio Student Society
Based in the AgriBio building, the AgriBio Student Society is a club dedicated to providing support and social events, as well as networking and career development opportunities for all students.
Ancient Roman and Greek Organisation
ARGO aims to provide an academic and social group to encourage and organise activities relating to the study of Ancient Mediterranean culture within the student body and wider community. The Club will achieve this by fostering a supportive, positive and safe space for students of all year levels, knowledge backgrounds and interests. A.R.G.O will aim to meet up fortnightly for study sessions, casual presentations, mindfulness exercises, movie nights, or group outings to museums and galleries etc. to encourage passion from students who are seeking more engagement with Classical studies in Australia.
Arts Students' Association (ASA)
ASA runs events and programs that ensure a robust social life, considered academic environment, skill development and training, and adequate networking and professional opportunities - particularly to complement the enrolment within the study of Arts.

Botany and Plant Ecology Society
We facilitate volunteering opportunities, field trips, workshops and organise citizen science projects under the guidance of the academic staff of La Trobe University. Our events intend to raise awareness of local conservation issues, increase knowledge of the biodiversity of native flora and promote appreciation of its beauty.
Clinical Audiology Student Association (CASA)
This club originated in 2017 with the aim to allow students to network with other students and potential employers, meet new people, share experiences about the course, make friends as well as expand their knowledge in Audiology through both academic and social events. From our very first event, we have operated like a non-profit organisation and are always interested in finding ways to fundraise for different causes related to our field.
Dungeons and Dragons in the Agora (DnD Agora)
The purpose of our club is to play the role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons together, and in doing so, build improvisation skills, tell creative meaningful stories, and form lasting friendships.
EG HDR Society
This Society aims to support Honours and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students within the Department of Environment and Genetics, La Trobe University by providing opportunities for skills development and networking, supporting students while they are studying and providing a sense of community. We aim to provide HDR’s students with workshops, writing retreats, networking opportunities, social events, speakers, attending conferences and courses, subsidise volunteer-related activities and provide financial support while they are enrolled students of La Trobe University. We also aim to improve the community vibe with HDRs within the department. Members of the Society are Honours, Master, or PhD students within the Department of Environment and Genetics.
Hakama Nakama is the Japanese Club of La Trobe University. It is a place where you can meet others with a mutual interest in Japan, Japanese culture and the Japanese language. We hold a range of in-person and online events such as games night, study sessions, karaoke, badminton, meet-ups with Japanese students, and more! If you are looking for help learning Japanese, we have a Discord server where you can chat with domestic and international students with varying levels of Japanese fluency. You can also share interesting things you’ve found online and browse through a range of beginner to advanced language learning resources in our Resources Channel. Some members of the club also offer private tutoring if that is preferred. In 2023, we hope to grow our club, develop relationships with other Universities Japanese clubs, and host a wider range of events; suggestions are welcome!
International Youth and Students for Social Equality (IYSSE)
As the student and youth movement of the Socialist Equality Party, the Australian section of the world Trotskyist movement, the International Committee of the Fourth International (ICFI), the IYSSE aims to educate students in the program and principles of the ICFI.

La Trobe Archaeological Society (LAS)
The La Trobe Archaeological Society is a vibrant community of archaeology students, professionals, and enthusiasts. The aim of the society is to provide networking and development opportunities for La Trobe students interested in or studying Archaeology. We also host a range of free workshops and seminars for our members to expand their academic and field skills. In addition, the Archaeological Society connects undergraduate and postgraduate students socially and provides opportunities to further network at various events throughout the year.

The purpose of the club is to provide a space where everybody can find out more about Jesus by talking about Jesus in faithful, creative, engaging and respectful ways on campus. We encourage and inspire students to maturity via Bible teaching, prayer and fellowship.

The La Trobe University Car Club is a club that allows car enthusiasts to mingle with each other and talk about their passion in cars. The club in an inclusive club that allows anyone to join and to share their cars with the club.
The club aims to have bi-weekly – monthly meetings and have a little show for the clubs members to bring their car to the university car park and join other car enthusiasts to look at each other’s cars and meet new people.
The club also aims to be active on social media and provide a platform for remote members who cannot attend meetings. The social media platform is run by the representatives of the club to include all members and create discussions for the members.

LUNASY, or La Trobe University’s Noble Anime Society, is a club for people with a dedicated or even just a passing interest in anime and manga, the cartoons and comics of Japan which have reached soaring levels of popularity the world over. Unlike Western cartoons aimed at children, anime often includes mature content and many titles are known for their extreme graphic violence, overt sexuality, or for tackling complex psychological issues. Of course, there’s no shortage of friendlier content either, and we aim to offer a wide variety of genres to cater to many different tastes.

A network of individuals with an interest in Celtic piping, drumming, dancing, and other related activities. The La Trobe Saudi Society aims to welcome in new students, helping them to overcome home sickness, facilitate their integration into Australian society and also provide academic assistance. We plan to organise social, sport, cultural scientific and Saudi Arabian national events, and activities. We also aim to introduce the Saudi Culture and traditions into the University, strengthening the relationship between the students and their universities by encouraging them to participate in the non-academic activities.

The Patch Bundoora - La Trobe Community Garden
The Patch is a vibrant community and garden located behind the Borchardt Library on the Bundoora campus. Students and staff are welcome to join and participate in the regular events we hold.
