How do international placements work?
If your degree includes required or optional Work Integrated Learning (WIL) placement/s, you may be able to take all or part of the placement abroad.
International placements range from two- to ten-week long experiences.
Your international placement is facilitated through a partnership with a La Trobe partner university or directly with the host organisation. If the international placement is through a partner university, the overseas university will source the placement for you using their own connections in your academic field.
NOTE: International placements are only available with organisations (or through partner universities) that have existing agreements with La Trobe University. Students cannot self-source their placements.
