About this course
This three-year degree has a strong focus on industry projects, giving you the chance to develop a medium-sized software program in your final year. Your subjects will cover social and ethical issues such as computer hacking, software piracy and security breaches along with Information Technology fundamentals.
You’ll also gain skills in project management, project estimation, documentation and report evaluation through the theoretical side of these core subjects.
After graduating from this degree you will be able to launch your career in the following areas:
- systems analysis
- analyst programming

- software engineering and strategy
- technology management
- web development
- systems marketing and more.
Opportunities also exist in a wide range of sectors such as banking, marketing, transportation and education.
HSC one of English (Standard) (band 2), English (Advanced) (band 2) or English as a Second Language (band 3). Please note international students have prerequisites relative to their country of origin, HSC prerequisites do not apply.
