On-Campus Accommodation is available at our Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo and Melbourne (Bundoora) campuses.

Special rates and offers are currently available for enrolled international students.

All On-Campus Accommodation must be booked before arriving in Australia and special rates and offers begin after the completion of all government isolation requirements.

On-campus accommodation

New and Current Students arriving in Australia

Commencing and continuing students who are newly arriving in Australia are eligible to apply for the International Student Arrival Accommodation Support Offer to receive two weeks free accommodation on campus. Find out more below.

For international students who are arriving in Australia to commence or continue studies, we are currently offering two weeks free accommodation on campus with Living at La Trobe upon arrival.

What can you expect?

  • Two weeks free accommodation on campus when you first arrive in Australia

Who is eligible?

This two-week free accommodation offer is available to enrolled La Trobe University international students arriving in Australia to continue or commence their studies.

La Trobe University considers you an international student if you:

  • Are a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand
  • Hold a current International Student Visa or temporary visa

Please note humanitarian visa holders are not eligible for the International Student Arrival Accommodation Support Offer.

All accommodation offers begin after the completion of all government isolation and/or quarantine requirements (including two negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests).

Newly arriving enrolled international students are also eligible for the International Student Accommodation Grant.

All enrolled international students

All enrolled international students, whether arriving in Australia or currently onshore, are eligible to apply for the International Student Accommodation Grant to receive a 20% discount on weekly rent when a 6 or 12 month contract to live on campus is signed. Find out more below.

As an international student at La Trobe, we are currently offering an accommodation discount to stay on campus with Living at La Trobe.
