About this course

This course enables students to obtain a professional accounting qualification. It is designed to equip them with competence and expertise in areas such as financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, finance, business law, taxation, business communication and information systems.

The Bachelor of Accounting is accredited by CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Students are required to complete specific subjects in order to graduate with the CPA Australia and CAANZ accredited qualification, please refer to the Handbook for further details. Membership may require an application to the professional body and may have additional or ongoing requirements beyond the completion of the degree. Please contact the relevant professional body for details.

HSC prerequisites

HSC one of English (Standard) (band 2), English (Advanced) (band 2) or English as a Second Language (band 3). Please note international students have prerequisites relative to their country of origin, HSC prerequisites do not apply.
