Additional information

Self-paced online

Complete the course anytime within a three month period using The Bouverie Centre Training Portal. Throughout the course access period you can pause, close, and resume the online modules from where you left off. There is no live interaction in this format.

The course duration is an approximate estimation based on the course content. Certificates of Completion stating Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours will be issued based upon the course duration.

You will have access to all content, resources, and your digital certificate of completion for three months from the date of enrolment, unless otherwise stated, and can download these before your course access expires.

In person

The course is run in-person at pre-determined times as outlined in the registration. There may be an online component in this format by way of access to The Bouverie Centre Training Portal to access pre and post-course surveys, presentation slides, resources and certificate of completion.

You will be able to download course resources, and your digital certificate of completion up to two weeks after the course end date, afterwhich your course access expires.

Live Stream

The course is run via live streaming (through Zoom video conferencing software) at pre-determined times as stated in the registration. There may be an online component in this format by way of access to The Bouverie Centre Training Portal to access pre and post-course surveys, presentation slides, resources and certificate of completion.

You will be able to download course resources, and your digital certificate of completion up to two weeks after the course end date, afterwhich your course access expires.

No recording is permitted during online streaming. The sessions are not recorded for dissemination amongst participants for privacy reasons.

Webinar

Live online sessions where a speaker, or small group of speakers, deliver a presentation to an audience who participate by listening, submitting questions and responding to polls. Generally, the audience is not “visible” to other audience members, only the speaker(s) and their screen (should they wish) are visible. The audience type in their questions during the live session.

The Bouverie Centre does not issue certificates of completion towards CPD hours for webinars.

Blended

Combination of any/all of the above.

Start and end times for our professional development courses can vary. The course start and end times are indicated on our website and registration page. Please ensure you attend the entire course. Certificates of completion are issued only upon full attendance and completion of the course.

For courses held in-person, please arrive and register no later than 15 minutes before the course commences.

For live stream courses, it is recommended you login to The Bouverie Centre Portal a minimum of 15 minutes before the course commences to have your audio and video settings set up. You will be in a Zoom waiting room until the course begins.
