Your administrative responsibilities
Your administrative responsibilities include managing your enrolment and fees, keeping your details up to date and checking University communications.
Manage your enrolment
Throughout your studies, complete your enrolment by the relevant deadlines, make sure it’s correct and update it as soon as possible if anything changes.
For more information about your enrolment requirements, read the Enrolment Procedure.
Pay your fees
Make sure you pay or defer (if eligible) the fees associated with your studies by the relevant due dates. This includes your subject fees and the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). If you’re an international student, your SSAF is included in your tuition fees.

Use systems and technology appropriately
Use University systems and IT responsibly, respectfully, securely and legally. Keep your login details secure and follow University IT and security requirements.
We may monitor your use of La Trobe’s systems and services for security, risk management and audit purposes. Misuse may result in your access being restricted or other action being taken.
You can learn more in the Use of Computer Facilities Statute and IS Acceptable Use Policy.
Keep your personal details up to date
You are responsible for keeping your details up to date in StudentOnLine so that we can contact you when we need to.
Check your student email
We’ll send important information and updates to your student email, so you need to check it regularly. This includes information or actions that may affect your studies. You also need to use your student email when contacting the University.
Read the Student Communications Policy for more information about how we get in touch with you.
International students
If you're an international student visa holder, you have additional responsibilities while studying at La Trobe to meet the conditions of your visa.
Make sure you’re familiar with your visa requirements.
