Academic Writing Month - LTUacwrimo
Academic Writing Month at La Trobe turns 7!
If you would like to make progress on your academic writing, with like-minded colleagues, then this month-long festival of writing is for you. Academic Writing Month (AcWriMo) has been developed for researchers at all levels (including graduate researchers), at every campus and externally.
We know that La Trobe researchers are committed to academic writing all year long. AcWriMo brings a renewed focus, invites us to commit to a writing goal, and enables us to surround ourselves with a community of writers who cheer us on. Whether you need inspiration, motivation or support, there is something in the program for you.
Since 2013, the RED team has created a month-long, multi-campus and online program to enable and encourage academic writing: with events, blog posts, workshops, and conversation on Twitter around the #LTUAcWriMo hashtag.
Academic Writing Month involves a two or three day writing retreat, held across multiple campuses. Run since 2015, this popular program enables you to work on your individual writing goals in a supportive environment. With the support of our colleagues across the university, we are excited to offer RED writing retreats on every campus for the first time this year!
All researchers at all levels are invited to participate.
