Welcome to La Trobe

Whether you want to head straight into your career after graduating, or continue on with a La Trobe degree, we’re here to help you achieve your goals.
Got a question during your diploma?
Your own personal Student Adviser and Peer Mentors will be on hand to offer tailored, one-on-one guidance. We also provide a wide range of health and wellbeing services to keep your mind and body healthy while you study. And to top it all off, our career services will help you graduate with a clear plan for achieving your career goals.
Best of all, these services are available to diploma students across all La Trobe campuses and all modes of study.
Work with your own personal Student Adviser, who’ll be on hand to support you from enrolment through to graduation. Your adviser will get in touch with you when you first enrol and connect you with all the services and support you need to begin your diploma with confidence. You’ll be able to reach out to your Student Adviser for ongoing support and advice while you study.
Get advice from a Peer Mentor – a more experienced student from your area of study. Working with a peer mentor is a great way to learn more about the different programs and processes you’ll encounter at La Trobe and get tips on balancing study with your other work and life commitments. It’s also a way to make new friendships and build your community at La Trobe.
You’ll have access to La Trobe’s full range of academic and learning support through our Learning Hub. Connect with Peer Learning Advisers and specialist academic skills and English Advisers or explore our Studiosity online writing feedback and study support portal, Maths, Science and Coding Hubs, One Step Ahead academic preparation program and How2Uni workshops. The Learning Hub is available both online and on campus.
Our careers services, including our premier employability program Career Ready Advantage, help you develop the skills and experience employers value most. Access cutting-edge professional learning through our partnership with LinkedIn and showcase your skills in a career portfolio. The experience you build through professional and community-based activities will set you apart from the crowd.
