Aspire ATAR

Get more from your ATAR. If your Aspire or Achieve Plus application is successful, you’ll have access to the Aspire ATAR to secure your early conditional offer in October.

What's an Aspire ATAR?

The Aspire ATAR is the score you need to lock in your offer. This may be a little different to the regular ATAR listed on the course page on the La Trobe website – it’s our way of saying thanks and encouraging you to reach higher than you thought you could.

It could be the one-point difference between your ATAR and getting into your course, so make sure you make the most of it and dream big.

You’ll find the indicative Aspire ATARs for 2022 below. These aren't set in stone – they'll be finalised mid-year. If your preferred course isn’t listed, the Aspire ATAR is 50.

Your conditional offer will be converted to a full offer in January 2022, so long as you meet the Aspire ATAR plus your course’s standard prerequisites.

Important

  • ATARs are subject to change.
  • *All initial teacher education courses require students to undertake the CASPer test to be considered for entry. CASPer is a non-cognitive online test designed to assess an applicant's personal and professional attributes and is a requirement for many of the initial teacher training courses in Victoria. For more information on CASPer, please visit the VTAC website.
  • +All initial teacher education courses require students to have a minimum selection rank of 70. For Aspire, selection may be based on a raw ATAR of 55, with an adjustment factor for community service and, where relevant, Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS).
  • Aspire ATARs are based against raw ATAR scores.
